DARK KNIGHT RISES Blu-ray Details and Release Date Revealed!:

We've heard a few rumors about the upcoming Blu-ray release of The Dark Knight Rises, such as, the fact that there might be a director's cut of the film included. The details have been revealed, and not only will we NOT get a director's cut, but there are also absolutely NO deleted scenes that will be included in the special features.
I thought for sure there would at least be some deleted scenes that we could check out! But no, instead there will be an in-depth look called Ending the Knight, "featuring about 17 featurettes at how Nolan and his production team made The Dark Knight Rises from Batman vs. Bane to totally demolishing a city.”
The Blu-ray/DVD will be released on December 4th, just in time for the holidays. But it's too far ahead in the month for me to wait around to get it as a gift. The blu-ray combo pack will also include other special features such as a documentary about the Batmobile, where all five Batmobiles are together for the first time, a featurette called The Journey of Bruce Wayne, as well as trailers and art galleries. It also comes in a limited edition Blu-ray Bat Cowl collectible package pictured above and below.
